Angelique has lived in Cypress, the Mid-East, Italy, and is a fifth generation Texan, she came to Austin ten years ago and has found her home here. She started creating art at a young age and accepted a full scholarship to the North Carolina School of the Arts at age 17. She continued studying art at Temple Junior College and completed her B.F.A at Texas A&M at Corpus Christi.After years of struggling with mental illness, she accepted Jesus and became powerfully saved. Since then God has been restoring her mind and her ability to use her talents. She is a process artist, and her preferred media are ceramics and printmaking. Angelique’s style is painterly and loose, allowing the process to show through.
