James in a native Texan and has lived in Austin for most of his life, graduating from Westlake High School in 2011. Since his early years, he has loved color and creating circle patterns with a variety of media. James lives with Autism and creating circles is a therapeutic outlet for him. His line quality, color choices, and strokes are a powerful form of self-expression. His work is colorful, playful, and has a strong sense of movement.James enjoys working in mixed media and is currently utilizing a variety of paints, crayons, and pencils. He is experimenting with different sizes and techniques and plans to continue to sell and display his work. James enjoys kayaking, bowling, and competing in the Special Olympics. |
