Cherrywood Coffeehouse
Known for its eclectic Austin-style atmosphere, Cherrywood Coffeehouse is where people go to hang out, have refreshments and enjoy good food. We are very lucky that Cherrywood made contact to remind us that it was our turn to exhibit art. This year’s theme is Spring Equinox. Everybody affiliated with Imagine Art was eligible to submit artwork for this exhibition including clients, AmeriCorps Members, and staff—a true represention of the IA community.
Here are some pictures of our members and staff hard at work hanging the artwork on the wall to get ready for the March 6th opening. We also have ceramics in display cases for the patrons to enjoy. This is our third time to hold this exhibition. As you can see, the hanging crew also had a little fun and laughs too.
Imagine Art had a little ceremony and party on the actual Spring Equinox, March 20th, to celebrate our artwork and achievements. We had a lot of fun seeing our artwork displayed, eating good food, and having good conversation with friends. We even received congratulations and support from some of the patrons.
