Artist Bio

Yadira Uranga brings a wide array of talents to Imagine Art’s studios. Yadira is sight impaired, and along with her  service dog, a black lab named Deja. She has come to Imagine Art to expand her artistic skills. She just likes the idea of making art. Blind since birth, Yadira finds inspiration from her mind and the things she envisions, which include landscapes and cityscapes, images of her dog and other animals. Besides establishing herself as an up and coming acrylic and ceramic artist, she is a member of Tilt Performance Art, a theater company for disabled people. Inspired by what Tilt University offered, Yadira became a playwright. She has authored one play, Audition of Chaos, and is currently working on her second.
