Artist Bio

Carmel Avila-Cantu is a 2D artist who enjoys painting in acrylic, marker, Prisma, and most recently glitter. He has an appreciation and keen eye for pattern and line, and a patient determination to draw intricate designs. Drawn to bright colors, his work ignites the spirit with a sense of movement and joy. He is inspired by music, his step-father (who is a graffiti artist), as well as his brother. In his spare time, Carmel also enjoys video games, sports, and relaxing at home. Carmel hopes to encourage others with his art.
