Artist Bio

Art is an inspiration of imagination and life.

Talented artist and storyteller Justin Maynard creates detailed fantasy-style drawings influenced by Western and Eastern comic books. He draws inspiration from his family, movies, games, and comic book writers like Stan Lee. With detailed storylines and multifaceted characters, Justin’s began creating graphic novels in 2019 that express his vivid imagination. His graphic novels are based on tried and true themes of good vs. evil, with many subplots.

A self-taught artist, he creates line drawings with pencil and then refines his work with pen. Watercolors, colored pencil hues (and even ceramics) bring a dynamic feeling to Justin’s images of dragons and superheroes.

His uncontainable imagination has helped him develop into a promising graphic artist. The preparation and time Justin puts into his art reaffirms his care and love for his craft. Justin has exhibited and sold his art on Imagine Art’s website. In the future, he wishes to collaborate with others, share his art with his fellow artists, and expand his horizons as an artist.
