Artist Bio

Natalie Schneidrer’s lack of sight allows her to envision her clay art intrinsically throughout the crafting process. Textures in her coiling method provide visual and tactile aesthetics to observers, as well to Natalie.  Natalie has been an artist in the Imagine Art community for more than a year. Her ever-improving and impressive clay working skills are magnified as she uses her sense of touch to compensate for her lack of vision. While Natalie has experienced more joy using the pottery wheel, she also explains that throwing clay requires much patience. She makes  different sized bowls and finds using the wheel very therapeutic.
