Imagine Art is partnering with MRE Capital, LLC, a seasoned affordable housing developer in Texas, to build the Live + Make affordable housing on the 1127 Tillery St. property in Austin, Texas.

MRE Capital has over a decade of experience securing capital, building, and operating affordable housing in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Alabama, Missouri and Kansas. MRE currently has 23 affordable housing developments across 6 states. Imagine Art’s Live + Make project seeks to establish deeply affordable, multi-family rental housing for low-income artists with and without disabilities, some of whom are individuals transitioning out of homelessness or institutional care into permanent housing. We are also partnering with Kelly Grossman Architect, who is serving as the lead architect to design our Tillery Street space.
